New in Cortex

Research study using fMRI and representational similarity analysis to examine the impact of interference on the representation of visual content in the ventral visual processing stream and perirhinal cortex. We find that representations in the perirhinal cortex, but not early ventral visual processing areas, are resistant to interference during working memory maintenance. The article can be read here.
